Kovalchuk is still a Devil

Kovalchuk has signed a massive 17 year deal with the New Jersey Devils.

Not really a shocker to anyone, the other teams in talks with him didn’t really have the room to afford his insane contract, $102 Million dollars over 17 years.

In other news Simon Gagne is now part of the Tampa Bay Lightning, that news is a bit overshadowed with the Kovy deal.
